FSP 3.0 ! Scheduled Downtime 28/05/2012 Morning GMT

Hello everyone

I finished the move of FSP to a new server, everything is working perfectly now and is faster than ever.

The big jump will happen tomorrow (28/05/2012) here is what will happen and how it will affect you (timing relative to GMT):

-Morning: Locking of the forum and registrations so I can export the latest posts and members to the new platform.
-Late Morning: Change of DNS so that freespeakerplans.com points to our new server
-Afternoon: Import of the data into the new platform, some members will start to see the new website (it may be required for you to reboot your router or alternatively run ipconfig /flushdns on windows platforms).
-Evening: All users should be able to access the new website when going to freespeakerplans.com and use their existing credentials to log in

Migration complete!

As usual we will need your feedback and help in reporting issues you may encounter.

Sorry guys, I had an emergency at work and the users transfer failed, I had no time to investigate any further.... the final move will have to be tomorrow

Ok some progress today, I just found what the bug was, profiles are imported correctly now with avatar etc.

Unfortunately I am away this weekend so it will have to wait Monday, sorry for the all the delays..

On a side note it will not be possible to migrate your PM, so if you have important messages please take some time over the weekend
to save them.
