I think it's more some people do their homework Tony, and get the results... Also think that's what separates the top sounds and the next tier.

Years ago, picked up my JBL MPX 1200 for £200 off ebay.. After I started blabbering my mouth about how great they were on 4 ohm bridge, and telling people they were basically rebadged QSC amps, almost never saw them advertised for less than £400.. :sick:

E.g, I've spent time researching chinese amps, and I know of 2x torroidials, and a few lightweights that are deadly... If I post how good they are, a UK dude will start importing them, and adding £300 mark up, and the chinese will then stop selling singles..

alot of reggae sounds don't deserve to know or have the equipment....too many bad minded sounds with very bad attitudes towards the soundsystem culture, too much negativity and 'trash talk' !! wana cuss out every other sound and tell the world they have the best sound system. secrets are good....but you have to share with someone smiley20 lol

As an outsider to the scene, I am constantly amazed at the, "Good behaviour only" type comments/remarks/adverts deemed necessary.

the problem for me is the attitude of the hole scene, i was djing at a dancehall event last night, i got hassle for being the only white dj, and there was fights kicking off all over the venue, between differant crews etc....... it could of been a very good night...... And to top it off there were people that new nothing about sound systems saying how crap the sound was....... i could be going def but it sounded great to me...... i just dont get the attitude thing.......
